We would not stay at this park again. I just read some of the previous reviews, and wish I had read them prior to staying at this RV parking lot. I fully agree with the other reviews - the sites were way too small. There were only about 5 sites with a good view of the Kenai River and Cook Inlet. The only view in the rest of the sites was the other RVs. Our site was a pull-thru, but was not long enough for our 33 foot motorhome and tow car. We had to park the car beside the cab of our motorhome, and there was less than two feet between the car and our neighbor. Also, the neighbor's sewer hose was about 3 feet from our door. It's amazing that the state with the largest land mass in the USA has the most cramped RV parks. This RV park was not the only one like this we encountered in Alaska. They are not RV parks; they are RV parking lots.
This RV parking lot is like many others we encountered in Alaska - the sites are way too small and jammed together. We could almost reach out and touch our neighbors on either side. Also, even with a relatively short motorhome (33 feet) there was not enough room in front of our coach to park our tow car comfortably. We had to park it crossway in front of our coach and was still afraid someone would sideswipe it going up the street. The Wi-Fi was good - it reached our site with a decent signal strength and was fairly fast. This was a one night stay, and next time we will look for some other place.
After staying in a few really cramped up RV parks in Kenai, Homer, and Anchorage with rates around $40, this park was a pleasant surprise. Not only is there some space between the sites, we even had a small GRASS yard! The lady in the office was extremely helpful and the Wi-Fi access was the best we've seen lately. We would definitely recommend this park and would stay here again.
We used this park for two nights as we were passing through. It was OK for a one or two night stand, but the sites are extremely close together. The neighbor's sewer connection was about 4 feet from our door - uck! Of course, our sewer connection was also very close to the neighbor on the other side. The Wi-Fi worked OK, but was a little slow. We would probably stay here again, but only for a one-nighter passing through.
